The blast occurred in Khar, the main town of lawless Bajaur tribal district, once a stronghold of Taliban militants who have carried out several bombings and suicide attacks in the area, which is near the Afghanistan border.
A suicide bomber wearing a burqa, and who some officials said was a woman, killed at least 43 people and wounded 100 as many of them queued for food that was being distributed by the United Nations food agency.
Most of the victims belonged to the local Salarzai tribe which supported military action against the militants and formed a militia to force them from Bajaur.

Comments: It is good to see the Salarzai tribe rejecting the Taliban. They should rewarded and compensated for their loss. Sadly, it wouldn't be surprising if they aren't that much more enlightened than the Taliban.

[And why is it a heresy and blasphemy to question your dogma, and why should we accept it without questioning?] It is plain wrong to treat everyone as equal, without taking in to account the factual moral inequalities. And besides being wrong, this false ideology and mental handicap also kill innocent lives by preventing effective action against the killers. So there is an urgent need for reform.
The post World War Two framework was an excessive knee-jerk reaction to the excesses of the Nazis. They are both extremes and are not based on facts. The liberals and leftists exploited the Nazi excesses (while ignoring the equally heinous Communist atrocities) to push their everything-everyone-is-good-and-equal agenda, and today we are suffering as a result and are paralyzed and can't take any effective action, even to save innocent lives.
How we treat others should be based on how they treat us and others.
This is the Golden Rule of Jesus.
To not take into account how they treat others or us, and insist that no matter how they treat others, they will be treated according to some fixed and pre-defined criteria is not only blind, unjust, unfair and wrong, but is also deadly to all by endanger our lives. It simply allows the wicked to hide behind the rules and use it against us.
Rules are made to save lives. If they don't then they should be discarded and replaced with those that do. It is the same for officials, governments and leaders.
Our response should be based on facts and not some blind dogmatic notion of equality or false taboos and moral superstitions.
And we should be flexible and respond to each threat on its merit, and not on fixed dogma that has no connection whatsoever with reality but is based on fantasy and madness.

Bomb explosion inside a Philippines church in Jolo town, on Jolo island, during Christmas mass injures 11, including a priest. Jolo island is the stronghold of Muslim Abu Sayyaf terrorists

A bomb exploded during Christmas Day Mass at a chapel inside a police camp in the volatile southern Philippines, wounding a priest and 10 churchgoers.
The device was hidden in a ventilation window near the ceiling of the chapel, which is on the compound where the provincial police office is located in Jolo town on Jolo Island, Sulu provincial police said.
The island is a stronghold of al-Qaida-linked Abu Sayyaf militants, but it wasn't clear who was responsible for the bombing. Investigators recovered parts of a cell phone they believe detonated the device
[The Rev. Romeo Villanueva, 72, said] "I was reading the Gospel. I was not yet finished when there was a loud explosion,"
A bombing at the main Jolo cathedral last year killed two churchgoers, and the cathedral has been attacked in the past with grenades. The Abu Sayyaf, notorious for high-profile kidnappings and beheadings, has been blamed for those attacks.

It [Abu Sayyaf] is believed to have carried out the worst terror attacks in Philippine history including the bombing of a passenger ferry in Manila Bay that killed more than 100 people in 2004.
It has also kidnapped many foreigners and Filipino Christians, hiding them in the jungles of Jolo and other southern islands.

President Benigno Aquino said Monday that investigators had identified a suspect and a possible "terror plot" in the Christmas day bombing of a church in the southern Philippines.
"There is a suspect that has been named. The modus operandi... is similar to various other incidents and an (intelligence) report of a new terror campaign especially in that part of the country," Aquino told reporters.

CASHES left at least one person dead and a number of houses burned in the Nigerian city of Jos yesterday amid tensions following a series of Christmas Eve bomb attacks that killed dozens.
The commissioner [state police commissioner Abdulrahman Akano] said the two groups involved in the clashes were "the locals and the so-called settlers".
Christians from the Berom ethnic group are typically referred to as the indigenes in the region, while Hausa-Fulani Muslims are seen as the more recent arrivals.
Mannok said the governor, Jonah David Jang, had encouraged youths in the city to be on the lookout and assist authorities in spotting suspicious activity.
At least 32 people were killed and 74 wounded in seven explosions in two different areas of Jos on Friday evening, with many of the victims doing their Christmas shopping at the time. A church was also targeted, the governor has said.
On the same night, suspected members of an Islamist sect that launched an uprising last year attacked three churches in northern Nigeria, leaving six people dead and one of the churches burnt.
The city is in the so-called middle-belt region between the predominantly Muslim north and the mainly Christian south and has long been a hot-spot of ethnic and religious friction in Nigeria.
Local rights groups say 1500 people have died in inter-communal violence in the Jos region this year alone.

As usual, Muslim settlers from underdeveloped societies, here they are nomads, immigrate to Christian land and then start committing acts of terror. Nothing different from what is happening in the West with Muslim immigrants.
They should build a wall, like in Israel to separate the two groups. It works in Israel and save lives, despite false moral arguments and groundless complaints against it.
Some reports are trying to portray the Muslim terror in non religious terms by trying to blame it on economic and ethnic factors. But this tired old lame excuse can easily be refuted by showing that Muslims always clash with others in other places even when economic or ethnicity is taken away. Such excuses are like the race excuse for terror in the West. Nigeria, just like in Sudan shows that race isn't the case of terrorism. Without Islam or Muslims, the thereat of terror is vastly reduced.
This is nothing but Islamic hate! They always have excuses for terror. If it isn't this, then it's that. The only solution is to separate them out, just like in Israel with separation barrier. It's letting them in and mixing them with others, based on the discredited multi-culturalism, that is causing the problem. They just become Trojan horses and fifth-columns on the inside.

5 of the 12 Somali men arrested in the Netherlands on suspicion of terror freed – 2 from the Netherlands, 2 from Denmark. 7 others still being held and investigated

Dutch authorities on Sunday cleared five of the 12 Somali men who were detained Christmas Eve on suspicion of preparing a terrorist attack in the Netherlands.
Prosecutors said they had no evidence of criminal involvement against the five men, but the investigation of the other seven was continuing.
The men were picked up in Rotterdam after a tip from intelligence services that an attack may be imminent.
Three of the detainees who had no valid residency permits were turned over to immigration police, prosecutors said. Two of them were residents of Denmark and the residency of the third was not established. Two Dutch residents were released.
Authorities said they cannot know for sure if they prevented a terrorist assault, but they did not want to take any risks. "What we did is take away the threat that was formed by these people," prosecutor Gerrit van der Burg said Saturday on national television.

Dutch authorities on Sunday cleared five of the 12 Somali men who were detained Christmas Eve on suspicion of preparing a terrorist attack in the Netherlands.
Prosecutors said they had no evidence of criminal involvement against the five men, but the investigation of the other seven was continuing.
The men were picked up in Rotterdam after a tip from intelligence services that an attack may be imminent.
Three of the detainees who had no valid residency permits were turned over to immigration police, prosecutors said. Two of them were residents of Denmark and the residency of the third was not established. Two Dutch residents were released.
Authorities said they cannot know for sure if they prevented a terrorist assault, but they did not want to take any risks. "What we did is take away the threat that was formed by these people," prosecutor Gerrit van der Burg said Saturday on national television.

Comments: Guantanamo is being used as a lame excuse for terrorism by Islamic terrorists and their liberal and left-wing apologists.

Recalling with great fondness my four-day visit to the United Kingdom last September, I am glad to have the opportunity to greet you once again, and indeed to greet listeners everywhere as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ.
Our thoughts turn back to a moment in history when God's chosen people, the children of Israel, were living in intense expectation.
They were waiting for the Messiah that God had promised to send, and they pictured him as a great leader who would rescue them from foreign domination and restore their freedom.
God is always faithful to his promises, but he often surprises us in the way he fulfils them.
The child that was born in Bethlehem did indeed bring liberation, but not only for the people of that time and place - he was to be the Saviour of all people throughout the world and throughout history.
And it was not a political liberation that he brought, achieved through military means: rather, Christ destroyed death for ever and restored life by means of his shameful death on the Cross.
And while he was born in poverty and obscurity, far from the centres of earthly power, he was none other than the Son of God.
Out of love for us he took upon himself our human condition, our fragility, our vulnerability, and he opened up for us the path that leads to the fullness of life, to a share in the life of God himself.
As we ponder this great mystery in our hearts this Christmas, let us give thanks to God for his goodness to us, and let us joyfully proclaim to those around us the good news that God offers us freedom from whatever weighs us down; he gives us hope, he brings us life.
Dear friends from Scotland, England, Wales and indeed every part of the English-speaking world, I want you to know that I keep all of you very much in my prayers during this Holy season.
I pray for your families, for your children, for those who are sick, and for those who are going through any form of hardship at this time.
I pray especially for the elderly and for those who are approaching the end of their days.
I ask Christ, the light of the nations, to dispel whatever darkness there may be in your lives and to grant to every one of you the grace of a peaceful and joyful Christmas.
May God bless all of you.

6. (C) Turning to the subject of counter-bio-terrorism cooperation, Singh reported that Indian intelligence is picking up chatter indicating jihadi groups are interested in bio-terrorism, for example seeking out like-minded PhD's in biology and bio-technology. He compared the prospects for nuclear terrorism ("still in the realm of the imaginary") to bio-terrorism ("an ideal weapon for terrorism ... anthrax could pose a serious problem ...it is no longer an academic exercise for us.")

Comments: Not new but just a confirmation. Saddam Hussein used chemical weapons against the Kurds and Iranians and tried to acquire nuclear weapons. Pakistan has nuclear weapons and Iran is now allegedly after them too.

A parcel bomb blast at the Swiss embassy in Rome seriously injures both hands of an employee who opened it
A package exploded at the Swiss embassy in Rome on Thursday, Italy's foreign ministry said on Thursday and Ansa news agency reported that one person was seriously injured. (Reuters 1)

Rome was on high alert on Christmas Eve after parcel bomb blasts left two staffers at the Chilean and Swiss embassies in the Italian capital badly injured in an attack claimed by anarchists.
The Chilean injured as he opened a package delivered to the embassy lost two fingers, hospital sources said. His right eye was also badly damaged by the blast and he had to have a metal bolt extracted from his chest.
The Swiss embassy worker was wounded to his left hand by a similar blast.
Both bombs were contained inside VHS video packages filled with gunpowder and metal fragments connected to a nine-volt battery and a light bulb filament, Italian newspapers reported, citing investigators.
"The targets were not chosen at random," Alfredo Mantovano, a junior interior minister, was quoted as saying by Il Giornale daily.
Mantovano said Switzerland was chosen because of the arrest of some Italian anarchists there and Chile because an anarchist died there in a bomb blast last year -- a death blamed by anarchist groups on Chilean authorities.

"We have decided to make our voice heard with words and with facts, we will destroy the system of dominance, long live the FAI, long-live Anarchy," said the note, written in Italian, which was released in the evening by the police.
The note was signed by the "Lambros Fountas revolutionary cell" of the FAI, named for a Greek anarchist killed in a clash with Athens police in March. It also made reference to anarchist movements in Chile, Mexico, Spain and Argentina.

Comments: Left-wing terrorists could be responsible, although it could also be that Islamic terrorists are targeting Switzerland for some reason or other. Islamic terrorists always have excuses. Many Muslims have a distorted view (WikiLeaked US' UK embassy cable) of the world and as a result suffer from delusions of persecution and react violently to imagined persecutors.
UPDATE: Anarchists should try to use non-violent democratic means to achieve their aims. The situation is not that bad to require the use of violence. Filipino gunmen with ties to al-Qaida-linked militants, under pressure from pursuing police commandos, have freed [abandoned, apparently getting any ransom] two Malaysian laborers [Chen Yui Chung, 48, and Lai Wong Chun, 46,] from 10 months of jungle captivity, police said Wednesday.
The hostages were seized Feb. 8 from a seaweed farm in Malaysia's Sabah state and whisked away in a speedboat to nearby Philippine waters in a pattern similar to past kidnappings-for-ransom blamed on the notorious terrorist group Abu Sayyaf.
The Abu Sayyaf has gained notoriety for high-profile kidnappings, beheadings and bomb attacks. Battle setbacks, arrests and surrenders have reduced the group's strength to more than 300 from more than 1,000 guerrillas during its heyday in 2000, the military says.
That year the militants abducted 21 Asian workers and Western tourists from Malaysia's Sipadan diving resort and brought them to Jolo. They were freed in batches in exchange for huge ransoms.

The Abu Sayyaf has gained notoriety for high-profile kidnappings, beheadings and bomb attacks. Battle setbacks, arrests and surrenders have reduced the group's strength to more than 300 from more than 1,000 guerrillas during its heyday in 2000, the military says.
That year the militants abducted 21 Asian workers and Western tourists from Malaysia's Sipadan diving resort and brought them to Jolo. They were freed in batches in exchange for huge ransoms.

Comments: What this case shows, once again, is that many Muslims suffer from 'delusion of persecution' (they are the ones killing and oppressing and yet believe themselves to be victims) and so do not acknowledge terror problem in their mist.

Women's access to sports overall is tightly constricted in Saudi Arabia, which is governed according to an ultra-strict version of Islam. Women cannot participate in the Saudi Olympics team, and are not allowed to attend public football matches.
While a few women-only private clubs and private women's universities offer sporting possibilities, sports are prohibited at primary and secondary schools for girls.

Muslim 'Christmas is evil' dawa poster in London, and website says it's pagan, sex, abortion, blasphemy, 'claiming God has a son', drugs, alcohol and violence and that Islam is better
They hope the campaign will help 'destroy Christmas' in this country and lead to Britons converting to Islam instead.
The campaign's organiser is 27-year-old Abu Rumaysah, who once called for Sharia Law in Britain at a press conference held by hate preacher leader Anjem Choudary, the leader of militant group Islam4UK [a banned Islamic hate group].
Mr Rumaysah told the Mail that he was unconcerned about offending Christians.
He said: 'Christmas is a lie and as Muslims it is our duty to attack it.
'But our main attack is on the fruits of Christmas, things like alcohol abuse and promiscuity that increase during Christmas and all the other evils these lead to such as abortion, domestic violence and crime.
'We hope that out campaign will make people realise that Islam is the only way to avoid this and convert.'

'If we said such things about Muslims, we'd all be hanging from lamp-posts.

Comments: Typical Islamic non-sense. Everything the poster speaks against, except for 'claiming God has a son' is condemned by Christianity. It is the liberals and left-wingers that promote such sexual immoralities, not Christians.
These Muslims have a simplistic human view of God and think that when Christians say Jesus is son God, they think that it is somehow similar to humans having a son. They think God is like human beings, which isn't the case.
If someone else made a similar poster saying Muhammad is the anti-Christ and that terrorism, beheadings, suicide bombings, cutting hands and foots, stoning women, sexism, poverty, primitive barbarism, genocide, rape, macabre death cults, hate, bigotry, retarded emotional intelligence, megalomania, paranoia, delusions, lunatic rage, mental retardation and low intelligence, just to name a few, were the fruits of Islam, these same people who made this poster would be extremely offended (even though such a poster would have a lot of justification based on numerous actual cases).
This poster also is making the usual claim that Islamic sexual repression is superior to the debauchery caused by liberals and left-wingers.
Unlike other monotheistic religions, Islams is the only religion that offers its followers sex (some women allegedly have big breasts), food and drink, served by young beautiful boys as reward in heaven.
They treat women as sex objects and as trophies to be won in Islamic heaven. This is sexism, lust and perversion.
Muhammad, the founder of Islam himself had over 10 wives, including a former daughter-in-law of him who became his wife.
Muslim men are allowed up to four wives and are allowed to beat their wives and children. In Iranian Shiite Islam, men can also have unlimited number of 'temporary wives'. This is the perversion, lust and sexism.
UK sharia judges and many other Muslims also says that there is no such thing as spousal rape and that a man can have sex with his wife even if she refuses, meaning he can rape his wife. This is the protection Islam provides to women. This is the sexual equality in Islam. This is the rape and violence that Muslims should worry about instead of criticizing others.
Interesting that the poster mentions debt. A recent WikiLeaked US embassy cable from the UK says Muslims are the most unemployed and disabled and unqualified group in the UK so they should worry about debt themselves first. It wouldn't be surprising if these Muslims made those posters and website with government welfare money.
And as mentioned before, Islam is a very pagan religion despite Muslims frequently criticizing others of paganism. Allah, the god of Islam was a pre-Islamic pagan god and the Kaaba in Mecca, the holiest Islamic idolatrous shrine and the place they face to in prayer was also a pre-Islamic pagan shrine. Sex in heaven is also a pagan feature found also in other religions such as Greek paganism, where even gods have sex.
All these pagan elements were combined with other Jewish and Christian elements and some of Muhammad's own ideas to create the religion of Islam. Islam is a cargo-cult or a religion created by people from less developed societies (pre-Islamic Arabia) based on the religion of more advance civilizations (Christianity and Judaism). They mix up bits and pieces from here and there and then create their religion.
Ahmadiyya Islam for example is a further continuation of Islam with a prophet claiming to be the latest and last messenger. Sikhism is also similar, combining elements of Hinduism and Islam, just as Islam was made with elements of Christianity, Judaism and paganism. In Christianity also there is Joseph Smith, who claims to be a prophet of Mormonism. So Islam is just one of the many cargo-cult like religions, although it has the most followers and is also the most violent, as can be seen in the daily reports of terror and other violence and hate, such as this 'Christmas is evil' campaign.
Expect politically correct double standards authorities to do nothing about this hate poster by the Muslims, or if they do then to do something token and inconsequential just to make it look like they are doing something about it.

The campaign's organiser is 27-year-old Abu Rumaysah, who once called for Sharia Law in Britain at a press conference held by hate preacher leader Anjem Choudary, the leader of militant group Islam4UK [a banned Islamic hate group].
Mr Rumaysah told the Mail that he was unconcerned about offending Christians.
He said: 'Christmas is a lie and as Muslims it is our duty to attack it.

'We hope that out campaign will make people realise that Islam is the only way to avoid this and convert.'

Comments: Typical Islamic non-sense. Everything the poster speaks against, except for 'claiming God has a son' is condemned by Christianity. It is the liberals and left-wingers that promote such sexual immoralities, not Christians.
These Muslims have a simplistic human view of God and think that when Christians say Jesus is son God, they think that it is somehow similar to humans having a son. They think God is like human beings, which isn't the case.
If someone else made a similar poster saying Muhammad is the anti-Christ and that terrorism, beheadings, suicide bombings, cutting hands and foots, stoning women, sexism, poverty, primitive barbarism, genocide, rape, macabre death cults, hate, bigotry, retarded emotional intelligence, megalomania, paranoia, delusions, lunatic rage, mental retardation and low intelligence, just to name a few, were the fruits of Islam, these same people who made this poster would be extremely offended (even though such a poster would have a lot of justification based on numerous actual cases).
This poster also is making the usual claim that Islamic sexual repression is superior to the debauchery caused by liberals and left-wingers.
Unlike other monotheistic religions, Islams is the only religion that offers its followers sex (some women allegedly have big breasts), food and drink, served by young beautiful boys as reward in heaven.
They treat women as sex objects and as trophies to be won in Islamic heaven. This is sexism, lust and perversion.
Muhammad, the founder of Islam himself had over 10 wives, including a former daughter-in-law of him who became his wife.
Muslim men are allowed up to four wives and are allowed to beat their wives and children. In Iranian Shiite Islam, men can also have unlimited number of 'temporary wives'. This is the perversion, lust and sexism.
UK sharia judges and many other Muslims also says that there is no such thing as spousal rape and that a man can have sex with his wife even if she refuses, meaning he can rape his wife. This is the protection Islam provides to women. This is the sexual equality in Islam. This is the rape and violence that Muslims should worry about instead of criticizing others.
Interesting that the poster mentions debt. A recent WikiLeaked US embassy cable from the UK says Muslims are the most unemployed and disabled and unqualified group in the UK so they should worry about debt themselves first. It wouldn't be surprising if these Muslims made those posters and website with government welfare money.
And as mentioned before, Islam is a very pagan religion despite Muslims frequently criticizing others of paganism. Allah, the god of Islam was a pre-Islamic pagan god and the Kaaba in Mecca, the holiest Islamic idolatrous shrine and the place they face to in prayer was also a pre-Islamic pagan shrine. Sex in heaven is also a pagan feature found also in other religions such as Greek paganism, where even gods have sex.
All these pagan elements were combined with other Jewish and Christian elements and some of Muhammad's own ideas to create the religion of Islam. Islam is a cargo-cult or a religion created by people from less developed societies (pre-Islamic Arabia) based on the religion of more advance civilizations (Christianity and Judaism). They mix up bits and pieces from here and there and then create their religion.
Ahmadiyya Islam for example is a further continuation of Islam with a prophet claiming to be the latest and last messenger. Sikhism is also similar, combining elements of Hinduism and Islam, just as Islam was made with elements of Christianity, Judaism and paganism. In Christianity also there is Joseph Smith, who claims to be a prophet of Mormonism. So Islam is just one of the many cargo-cult like religions, although it has the most followers and is also the most violent, as can be seen in the daily reports of terror and other violence and hate, such as this 'Christmas is evil' campaign.
Expect politically correct double standards authorities to do nothing about this hate poster by the Muslims, or if they do then to do something token and inconsequential just to make it look like they are doing something about it.

Report by 4 US senators says Blair and Brown governments, Scotland and BP prostituted justice for Libyan (trade) money in releasing Lockerbie bomber Megrahi on false medical diagnosis

The senators' report states that Scottish authorities examining the former Libyan intelligence officer relied on "false" and "flawed" medical prognosis that may have been influenced by a doctor hired by the Libyan government.
Mr Menendez [Senator Bob Menendez], along with three other senators, launched the investigation after officials from Scotland, the UK and BP failed to testify at a Senate foreign relations committee hearing, he was scheduled to chair in July.
"This was a case in which commercial and economic considerations trumped the message of our global fight against terrorism," said Mr Menendez.

Libyan national Abdelbaset Ali Mohmet al-Megrahi is the only person ever convicted over the 1988 attack in which 270 people, most of them Americans, perished when Pan Am Flight 103 exploded over the Scottish town of Lockerbie.
Scottish authorities, who have power over their own judicial affairs, released Megrahi, 58, on compassionate grounds in August 2009 after doctors said he was suffering from terminal cancer and had three months to live.
Megrahi is still alive more than 16 months

It suggests the two Scottish doctors who said the bomber had months to live had been influenced by three doctors who were hired by the Libyan Government.
The Senate report quotes cancer experts who said the three month prognosis was 'inaccurate and unsupported by medical science'.
It says the decision to release al Megrahi was made primarily by two Scottish prison doctors who had no background in prostate cancer.
Britain's ambassador to Libya, Sir Vincent Fean, 'directly participated' in an October 2008 meeting with Scottish government and senior Libyan officials to discuss a 'way out' for Megrahi, the report states.
He [Foreign Secretary William Hague, had] said British interests, 'including those of U.K. nationals, British businesses and possibly security cooperation would be damaged - perhaps badly - if Megrahi were to die in a Scottish prison.'
The report also highlights the role of the Government of Qatar who lobbied for the bomber's release.
It states at the time the Scottish Government were seeking to expand commercial ties with Qatar

Comments: Looks like a case of 'Justice for sale' but this isn't really about money, except for BP. This is appeasement to Muslims by the politically correct elites.

Iran hangs 11 members of Sunni-Baluch militant group Jundallah (Army of God) days after a Jundallah suicide bomber killed 39 Shiites during Ashura in revenge for hanging its leader

Iran hanged 11 men authorities said were members of an armed Sunni militant group convicted of bombings, the official IRNA news agency reported.
The men were said to be members of Jundallah, the group that claimed responsibility for an attack [to avenge the hanging of its leader, Abdulmalik Rigi, earlier this year] last week on Shiite worshippers that killed 39 people in the southeastern port city of Chahbahar.
Jundallah has been waging an insurgency for years in remote Sistan-Baluchistan province, a lawless area in southeastern Iran bordering Pakistan where smuggling and banditry are rife. The groups says it is fighting for the rights of the Baluchi minority, which it says suffers discrimination at the hands of Iran's Shiite's leadership.
[Those hanged were convicted of alleged] involvement in attacks over the past years that killed 15 policemen and 12 members of the Revolutionary Guards — Iran's most powerful military force. The were also accused of supplying arms and refuge to terrorists, armed kidnapping and arms smuggling.

Shadowy Sunni militant group Jundallah (Army of God) has claimed several deadly attacks in Sistan-Baluchestan, of which Zahedan is the capital and which borders Afghanistan and Pakistan, including a December 15 suicide bombing in the city of Chabahar that killed 39 people and wounded dozens.
The bomber struck in a central square as worshippers took part in the procession marking the eve of the last day of Ashura, the most revered Shiite mourning ritual.
Iranian officials charge that the group is receiving support from the intelligence services of the United States, Britain and Pakistan.
[After the Chabahar attack] Iranian president "asked Zardari to order his country's security forces to quickly arrest known terrorists and hand them over to the Islamic Republic of Iran," Ahmadinejad's office said in a statement posted on its website.
[Sistan-Baluchestan provincial justice department head Ebrahim Hamidi said] "These corrupt and Mohareb (waging war against God) elements ... went through all the legal and religious procedures of receiving a fair and public trial,"
[Those hanged were accused of] "corruption on earth, fighting against God and the Prophet and confronting the sacred regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran."
Under Iranian penal code these crimes are punishable by death.

Imam Hussein, a grandson of the Prophet Mohammed, was killed by armies of the caliph Yazid in 680 AD. Tradition holds that he was decapitated and his body mutilated in the battle at Karbala, now in Iraq.
Shiites make up around 15 percent of Muslims worldwide. They represent the majority populations in Iran, Iraq and Bahrain, and form significant communities in Afghanistan, Lebanon, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Al-Qaeda threats against Christians have led to Christmas festivities being cancelled in the northern Iraqi oil hub of Kirkuk, its Chaldean Catholic archbishop said on Tuesday.
"The Christians of Kirkuk will not celebrate the feast of Christmas this year, except for masses, which will not be held at night but at 10 am, after myself and 10 other Christian personages received threats from the so-called Islamic State of Iraq," Monsignor Louis Sarko told AFP.

Less than two weeks after the church attack, a string of bombings targeting Christian homes and shops in Baghdad killed six more people.

They are so upset about a falsely alleged imprisonment of two converts to Islam, yet a relatively large number Muslims, even in the West, believe those who leave Islam should be killed and many who do are being threatened, killed or imprisoned.
Their primitive mind is no different from that of a child who only thinks of itself and can't think of anything else and cries or throw up a violent tantrum if it doesn't gets its way.
They know of no other way of dealing, other than through violence and savagery.

The incoming US Homeland Security Committee chair Peter King said that Muslims aren't helping anti-terror efforts but "acquiesce in terror or ignore the threat".
It's not the terrorists that are the problem.
