Incoming head of Germany’s main airport lobby group & head of Düsseldorf airport, Christoph Blume, calls for anti-terror profiling based on race, religion & country of origin to avoid increased security checks
Christoph Blume, the head of Düsseldorf Airport [and the incoming head of the ADV airport association], told daily Rheinische Post on Tuesday that air passengers should be divided into different risk categories, meaning they would be subject varying degrees of scrutiny by airport security.
He said profiling passengers according to characteristics such as race, religion and country of origin would allow German airports to avert a further tightening of security.
“Each new incident leads to extra checks and security measures. This creates a security escalation that will eventually hit its technical and operational limits,” Blume told the paper.

Comments: Guess which religion is responsible for ninety nine per cent of terrorism? They should target that religion, which shall remain nameless, instead of treating everyone as equally dangerous. The politically correct elites and officials are so obsessed with equality that they treat everyone equally when they should be focusing on the high-risk group.

Israel's Strategic Affairs Minister Moshe Ya'alon says Iran [which has expertise to build nuclear weapons] will have the necessary materials to do so in 3 years. Urges world to make it chose between “nuclear capability and surviving”
Israel's minister of strategic affairs said Wednesday that technical difficulties have pushed back the Iranian timetable for producing a nuclear weapon.
Moshe Yaalon, a former military chief of staff whose portfolio includes monitoring Iran, said he believes Iran is at least three years away from developing a nuclear bomb. Iran denies such intentions.
Israeli military officials have said Iran has the expertise to build a bomb, but still needs time to gather the necessary materials.
Israel considers Iran its most dangerous enemy because of its nuclear program, missiles and calls for Israel's destruction. Iran also supports the anti-Israel Hamas and Hezbollah militant groups.
=====
From Arutz Sheva
Iran now is at least three years away from being able to produce a nuclear bomb because of technical problems and sanctions, Strategic Affairs Minister Moshe Ya'alon told Voice of Israel government radio Wednesday.
Iran’s uranium enrichment facilities recently suffered severe damage from the Stuxnet virus. Israel has been widely mentioned as being behind the infection of Iran’s computers with the virus.
=====
From Reuters
The United States and its allies have up to three years to curb Iran's nuclear programme, which has been set back by technical difficulties and sanctions, a senior Israeli official said on Wednesday.
"I believe that this effort [U.S.-led action against Tehran] will grow, and will include areas beyond sanctions, to convince the Iranian regime that, effectively, it must choose between continuing to seek nuclear capability and surviving," Yaalon told Israel Radio.
Yaalon, a former armed forces chief, noted Iran's uranium enrichment plan had suffered setbacks.
=====
From BBC
The statement came a month after Iran said centrifuges used in uranium enrichment had been sabotaged.
There are suspicions, denied by Iran, that the centrifuges were targeted by the Stuxnet computer worm.

Detention and interrogation of terror suspects at Guantanamo bay as excuse for terror and Obama and others buy into this non senses to smear Bush, for ideoloical reasons, and forceful anti-terror tactics
Mr Obama views Guantanamo, which conjures up images of water-boarding and other alleged torture, as a prime symbol of Bush-era war on terror excess that only serves as a recruiting tool for Al-Qaeda.
[White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs told CNN's State of the Union program on Sunday] "Are they willing to listen to others in the national security arena that have told us and will tell them and have, quite frankly, told the public that Al-Qaeda recruits young people to do harm, to try to blow up airplanes, to blow up themselves and kill others, they use that [Guantanamo Bay detention camp] as a recruiting tool?"
Source: AFP
Comments: Guantanamo is being used as a lame excuse for terrorism by Islamic terrorists and their liberal and left-wing apologists.
Why don't these liberals and left-wingers fight the Islamic terrorist lies and excuses, instead of giving in and trying to shut down Guantanamo that saved lives.
The real reason Obama and the liberal-left attack Guantanamo is to smear George W Bush for ideological reasons (political reasons) and paint him in a negative light, in order to make themselves look good (Bush and his supporters bad. We, his opponents, are good.), when in fact they are being naive and morally bigoted. They only care about terrorists and dangerous criminals. Not about innocent people and victims.
The real reason Islamists attack Guantanamo is because they hate any strong action being taken against them and to portray such strong actions as bad, so that only ineffective actions will be taken against them.

Incoming US Homeland Security Committee chair Peter King condemns PC, media terror apologetics, Muslims acquiesce-ignoring terror, conspiracy theories, double standards & treachery
NOTE: Words in square brackets [] are comments by the author of this blog article and not by Peter King.
To some in the strata of political correctness, I'm a pretty bad guy. To be blunt, this crowd sees me as an anti-Muslim bigot. A spokesman for the Committee on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) denounced me last year for making "bigoted remarks . . . about Muslims and mosques”[Labeling criticism of Islamic and Muslim problems and hate as 'hate', e.g. 'bigoted'. Its a blasphemy to make such criticism.]
from moralistic condemnation to sorrowful rebuke [by Newsday][Moralizing trick. Unfounded moral outrage at any criticism of Islam or Muslims while ignoring far worse wrongs and atrocities by Muslims.]
barely a month after those [9-11] attacks that killed so many hundreds of Long Islanders, prominent Long Island Muslim leaders were insisting there was no evidence that al-Qaida was responsible for the attacks - even saying it could have been the CIA, the FBI or the Zionists![A bit of psychology: distorted Muslim views of the world, conspiracy theories, 'Muslims can do no wrong so someone else must be responsible such evils', blame the victim blame game and anti-Semitism. Important to note that this is not a tiny minority of Muslims that have these problems. It's mainstream with even Muslim leaders holding such distorted views.]
Even more troubling is that to this day, no Muslim leader has denounced those vile remarks. Nor did Newsday say a word about these slanders - no moral outrage or condemnation. No demand for an apology or even an explanation.[Double standards: Muslim and media silence when Muslims make hate remarks but loud outrage at even legitimate criticism of Islam. See hate-labeling above.]
As I became more immersed in attempting to unravel the radical Islamic threat to our nation and our civilization, it became more and more obvious to me that the moral myopia of Long Island's Muslim leaders and their apologists in the media was the rule - and that there were few exceptions.[Islamism is a global existential threat. Distorted views and political correctness are the rule among Muslims and the media.]
Federal and local law enforcement officials throughout the country told me they received little or - in most cases - no cooperation from Muslim leaders and imams.[Indirect support for terrorism. They may not be terrorists but they do nothing about terrorism in their mist.]
In the past 15 months we saw Najibullah Zazi, who was raised and educated in Queens, attempt to attack the New York City subway system with liquid explosives, using skills he learned in terrorist training camps in Afghanistan. We learned about Zazi by chance when his name came up on a wiretap. The case was almost compromised when a Queens imam - ostensibly cooperating with the New York City Police Department - tipped off Zazi.[Treachery: Taqiyya by a hate preacher Imam helping terrorists. Despite claims by leftists social determinists and some Muslims that poverty causes terrorism, Zazi here is a terrorists despite being in the US and getting an education. He wasn't living in poverty in some third world slum.]
a Pew Poll showed that 15 percent of Muslim Americans between 18 and 29 say suicide bombing is justified. I also know of imams instructing members of their mosques not to cooperate with law enforcement officials investigating the recruiting of young men in their mosques as suicide bombers.[Sympathy for terror is substantial and not restricted to a tiny fringe minority. And these people aren't living in some poor and backward third world Islamic country. They are in the US. These imams must know something about Islam and so must know that 'Islam has nothing to do with terrorism'. Why is it then that they aren't preaching these messages or are helping fight these allegedly un-Islamic terrorists.]
leaders who - for whatever reason - acquiesce in terror or ignore the threat.[As before, they may not be terrorists themselves but many Muslims, including leaders do noting about it either, and so are in effect condoning or indirectly supporting terror. This is a common problem that also exists in places like Qatar, Pakistan and even in Britain.]
[Caution: Peter King also said he isn't anti-Muslim. He points out that he supported Balkan Muslims including those in Bosnia, Macedonia and Kosovo against Serbian Christians [including Clinton's 1995 and 1998 military offensives], and supported Pakistan on Kashmir against India.]

Comments: The Albanian KLA that the US promoted was a terrorist organization and based on numerous concrete reports, some of their members allegedly killed Christian Serbs and their Albanian rivals to harvest their organs.
This is the norm with many Muslims. If their opponent is stronger than them, they provoke the opponent and play the victim card, even thought they are no different or far worse.
This should always be remembered whenever Muslims in position of weakness play victim card. They may be publicly playing victims while killing people and harvesting their organs or doing something similar.

Last year a Muslim mob killed a pastor and his wife in Nigerian village of Boto in the mainly Christian Tafawa Balewa district of Bauchi state
The information is from an AFP news report on the sentencing in Bauchi State of Pentecostal pastor John Nadrew, 46, to three years and eight months jail for illegal possession of firearms, which he claims to have kept "for self-defence following a series of sectarian attacks in the area."
Source: AFP
Comments: Despite the sentence, it is still a good idea to be well prepared against Muslim extremists, especially in northern Nigeria.
The mainly Muslim north jails a Christian pastor for being sensible, while the police there [in other areas] does nothing against the Islamic Boko Haram terrorists carrying out numerous murderous attacks.
Even the police there is suspected of being infiltrated by Boko Haram members.
It wouldn't be surprising if the police ignores weapon possession by Muslim attackers and only targets Christians who are only trying to defend themselves.

“Don't reward bad behaviour.” “A club is the only medicine for a mad dog” North Korea – Strategies that should also be adopted against Islamists
The North claims it was attacked first but the South said it was carrying out military exercises and had only fired to the West of the Island, outside the North's territory.3
The attack came days after 'Pyongyang defiantly showed off a new uranium-enrichment facility to the world' and 'eight months after the North had torpedoed a South Korean warship killing 46 sailors'.3
Analysts say the latest attack was 'yet another calculated attempt by the regime to exploit divisions and extract concessions from the international community.'3
South Korean newspaper Dong-A Ilbo recommended that “A club is the only medicine for a mad dog” and demanded 'a strong military' response.4
Chosun Ilbo daily said “North Korea is putting a dagger to our throat," and also called for a strong response saying “Let's retaliate against North Korea's illegal attacks immediately, sternly and precisely.”4
Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff said on CNN's 'Fareed Zakaria GPS' program that the North Korean leader Kim Jong Il "is belligerent, dangerous, consistently destabilizing and is only predictable in his unpredictability.”2
"I am one who believes we shouldn't be rewarding bad behaviour here. And yet he continues to generate that behaviour in hopes that he can get attention - enough attention to move in some direction that's, quite frankly, not determined," Mullen said.1
Sources: 1. AFP, 2. CNN, 3. 4. The Daily Telegraph (U.K.)
Comment: North Korea and Iran have ties and both behave similarly. The chest-pounding violent belligerent attention seeking behaviour of North Korea can also be seen in many other different situations from the individual up to the civilisational level. No matter whether individual terrorists or groups of nations behave this way, they should never be rewarded. Instead they should be punished.

Israeli style passenger profiling would make airlines safer than the new TSA checks, says terrorism expert Brigitte Gabriel
She said al-Qaida was working on implanting explosives into women's breasts and that the new Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checks that includes full-body scanning and pat-downs, would not be very effective against such methods.
She said the Israeli style profiling in contrast,
"can pinpoint a potential terrorist whether they are dark-skinned and named Mohammed or they are six-foot-tall, blue-eyed, blonde holders of American passports."She urged the public to demand
public officials to come up with ways to identity the threats by name [emphasis added]She criticized Obama for excluding official references to words such as "Islamic terrorist," "jihad" and "Islamic radicals" in Government speeches.

Mullah Omar's appeal for money suggests Taliban is hurting from U.S. capture-and-kill missions
In a boost for Nato and Afghan forces the spiritual leader of the Taliban appealed to Muslims around the world for funding for the war - a hint that the Nato and Afghan forces are beginning to hurt the Taliban. From Washington Post2
Under Petraeus and his predecessor, such [capture-and-kill] raids by U.S. Special Operations troops have increased sharply, to about 200 a month, or six times the number being carried out 18 months ago
These operations capture or kill their target 50 to 60 percent of the time
the nighttime strike missions are a crucial weapon to capture Taliban commanders, disrupt bomb-making networks and weaken the 30,000-man insurgency
In the past three months, U.S. Special Operations troops have killed or captured 368 insurgent leaders

82 dead after suicide bomber sent by terrorist “beasts” turned Sunni mosque in Pakistan into a “graveyard” during Friday prayers
The death toll has now reached 82,4 including 11 children,1 with 80 others wounded5 after a suicide bomber attacked a Sunni2 mosque in Pakistan during Friday prayers attended by around 300.5 The bomber blew himself up in the Waali Mosque's main hall after guards at the gate tried but failed to stop him.5 Mohammad Usman, 32, a schoolteacher who was wounded in the attack said the place looked “just like a graveyard” afterwards.2
The mosque in Akhurwall village, Darra Adam Khel area, near Peshwar, was owned3 and frequented2 by tribal elders running a government sponsored anti-Taliban militia, although none of them were there on this day.2
Khalid Umarzai, a regional administrator, said the army was conducting operations against militants in the area and that such a revenge attack had been expected.1
Provincial Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain, whose only son was killed by militants earlier this year, said the attack was part of international terrorism and that militant "beasts" were lashing out against a crackdown on them.2 He urged America, Pakistan and Afghanistan to cooperate and work “more aggressively to root out this menace”.2
