Muslims with machetes kill 6 Christians - 2 women & 4 children - burn homes, crops and kill cattle in Nigerian

 Machete² armed Muslim herdsmen from the Hausa-Fulani^1,2 ethnic group have attacked a Christian village of Rawhinku, East of the Nigerian city of Jos.² A women too old to flee, a young mother, and four small children were killed.¹ Houses^1,3 and crops³ were also burnt and cattle were slaughtered.^1,3 The Christians belong to the farming Berom ethic group.^1,2,3 

 There have been previous killings in the area which is in the "Middle Belt"² where Muslim north and Christian south meets.² Religious and ethnic violence between the indigenous Christians and animists, and migrants and settlers from the Muslim north, have killed thousands in the past decades.²
