Muslims with machetes kill 6 Christians - 2 women & 4 children - burn homes, crops and kill cattle in Nigerian

 Machete2 armed Muslim herdsmen from the Hausa-Fulani1,2 ethnic group have attacked a Christian village of Rawhinku, East of the Nigerian city of Jos.2 A women too old to flee, a young mother, and four small children were killed.1 Houses1,3 and crops3 were also burnt and cattle were slaughtered.1,3 The Christians belong to the farming Berom ethic group.1,2,3 

 There have been previous killings in the area which is in the "Middle Belt"2 where Muslim north and Christian south meets.2 Religious and ethnic violence between the indigenous Christians and animists, and migrants and settlers from the Muslim north, have killed thousands in the past decades.2
