76 dead, 232 wounded in Baghdad bombings two days after 58 died in attack on a Church

Coordinated explosions, caused by booby-trapped cars, a motorcycle, roadside bombs, and mortars, in at least 10 Shiite and a couple of Sunni Baghdad neighborhoods have killed 76 and wounded 232. Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki blamed the attacks on terrorists and former Baath Party members, who he said were trying to prevent the formation of a new government, after the May 7 election.
