Regular citizens should fight terror by reporting suspicious activities in their streets and neighborhoods, says US Homeland Security Janet Napolitan

Napolitano said “the citizens themselves … have an important role to play” in the fight against terrorism. She urged them to take the message of "If You See Something, Say Something" campaign by reporting to authorities if they “notice something in the neighborhood, see something on the street” that is suspicious. She was speaking at a forum hosted by the German Marshall Fund public policy group.

[Will the citizens be branded "Islamophbic" for following her advice?]
