The law is an ass: Somali pirate boat captured and blown up but pirates released unpunished

The British navy captured a Somali pirate boat packed with ammunition after it lost engine power. The boat was blown up but the pirate crew was released on the Somali coast.

Comment: Why weren't the pirates punished? Where is the law? Too busy protecting the 'rights' of criminals and terrorists obviously. Millions of dollars are wasted on naval patrols against the pirates when it could have been used instead on those in need or suffering from terrorism, but chose not to resort to crime or terrorism.
