6 US soldiers training Afghan police killed by a trainee, Azat Gul or Izzatullah - several similar attacks have happened before

US troops training Afghan police in Nangarhar province have been attacked by one of the trainees named Azat Gul, who opened fired killing six of them before being killed himself.

Taliban spokesman name the attacker as Izzatullah but APF added that 
The Taliban have made unsubstantiated claims of attacks on NATO forces.
Some past attacks or suspected attacks include

The killing of two coalition troops in the town of Sangin in Helmand province, under investigation as whether an Afghan soldier was responsible.

The July killing of two American contractors by an Afghan soldier inside a military base in north Afghanistan.

The killing of three British Gurkha soldiers by an Afghan soldier a week later in north Afghanistan

And the 2009 killing of five British soldiers by an Afghan policeman.
