Monument for Christian behaded by Chechen Muslim terrorists on video

A monument for Yevgeny Aleksandrovich Rodionov has been set up in Kuznetsk, Russia.

Rodionov was an 18 year old Russian conscript, captured by Muslim Chechen rebels in 1996, while serving in Chechnya. He, along with three others were held hostage for "100 days of torture, beatings and starvation".

On his 19th birthday, he was "invited" to convert to Islam and given a chance to live if he would take off his silver cross necklace and become a Muslim, according to his mother, who went to Chechnya and through bribes and investigations, recovered Rodionov's remains. He refused and as a result was beheaded by his Muslim captors, who recorded it on video.

The video, apparently of the beheading can be viewed at the link below. Be warned though, as it is very graphic.
