Body of George Azzi dug up from Christian cemetery and disfigured in Lebanese Muslim town

The body was severely beaten, it's face disfigured and dumped outside the cemetery gate by unknown attackers, in a third such incident in a decade. Father Selim Nammur from Jiyyeh, where the attack took place, said it was not sectarian, but had kept quite to avoid portraying it as such. During the bloody sectarian civil war that ended in 1990, such incidents were more common.

[Although Father Nammur said it wasn't sectarian, Muslims, who do much worst to the living, as evidenced even by what little is recorded here on this blog, must be suspected. The Father might simply be trying not to be provoked.]
