“Death to terrorists”, shouts nationalist Jews in protest against Islamic Movement “cancer” in Israel

  Around sixty² admirers of rabbi Meir Kahane² chanting “death to terrorists”² have marched on the outskirts of Umm el-Fahm, one of the largest Arab communities² in Israel and a stronghold of the radical Islamic Movement,^1,2 whose leader Sheikh Raed Salah,³ has called for a third Intifada.^1,2,4 They called for the Islamic Movement to be banned,² saying it was a “fifth column”,⁴ “Trojan horse”,⁴ and a “cancer”³ that seeks to destroy Israel from the inside.³ They said it deserve to be banned “1,000 times”² more than Kahane's Kach Party, which is banned. They also spoke out against the “State's helplessness“² in dealing with the radical group and said Israeli's were the only “suckers”⁴ that allow in their country a movement that calls for it's destruction. Some 350 Arab residents¹ rallied against the protest and there were clashes between rock throwing Arab youths and the police.¹
