Al-Qaeda in North Africa (AQIM) receiving funding by smuggling drugs [destined for Europe] across the Sahara desert, for left-wing Marxist Columbian FARC terrorists and other South American drugs gangs

From The Daily Telegraph

Islamic rebels [from Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM)] familiar with the barren terrain of the Sahara have struck deals under which they provide armed security escorts for drug traffickers in return for a slice of their profits.

Olivier Guitta, a counter-terrorism and foreign affairs consultant, said that the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), the Marxist rebel group, was the "force behind the agreement with AQIM".

In the past drugs were flown or shipped from South America straight to Spain or Portugal but the introduction of more rigorous controls in those countries led FARC to change its way of operating.

Terrorists linked to al-Qaeda in north Africa have made $130m (£84m) from helping drugs gangs and kidnap ransoms since 2007, according to one report citing an investigation by the Algerian government.

AQIM first emerged under a different name as an Islamic resistance group opposed to Algeria's secular government in the early 1990s and was behind numerous suicide bombings and ambushes.

Comments: Yet another Unholy Alliance on the Axis of Evil side.

Left-wing terrorists, criminals, criminally-insane or naively-insane, and Islamic terrorists are all the same so it's natural for there to be some co-operation between them.

But evil is never stable so they will start fighting among themselves later on.

Gambia, without explanation, orders Iranian diplomats to leave the country within 48 hours

Gambia has without explanation, ordered Iranian diplomats in the country to leave within 48 hours.2

Essa Bokarr Sey, a former Gambian ambassador to the United States, said it might be related to the recent seizure of a weapons shipment from Iran, in Nigeria, that news reports strongly suggest was destined for Gambia. He said that although it was fine for a country to purchase arms for it's own use, it might not be if they were bought for re-export.2

The two countries have previously developed ties after both were internationally ostracized – Gambia over accusations of human rights abuses and Iran over its nuclear program.1

Gambia supported Iran's nuclear program and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in 2006 that they were both being pressured by “bullying” powers.1

Sey suggested that Iran might be the latest victim to be used by the Gambian President Yayah Jammeh who has a history of making U-turns.1

He said that Jemmeh had in the past named an avenue after the Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi during a period of good relations, only to reverse it when things later went sour.1

 He explained that,
Whenever there is a lot of noise and he feels scared and he has been unearthed and identified as somebody who was meeting behind the curtains, he would react in this way to clean himself up2

Arrest warrant relating to Swedish rape charge for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange who published leaked US files on Iraq and Afghan war

Sweden is to issue an international arrest warrant for the Australian founder of WikiLeaks, Julian Assange, 39, after a court there ordered his detention for questioning in relation to charges of2 "rape, sexual molestation and unlawful coercion."4

Sweden's Director of Prosecution, Marianne Ny, said prosecutors "have not been able to meet with him to accomplish the interrogations".2

Assange is currently 'hiding' in Britain.4

The charges against him stems from "an incident of consensual sex where the condom broke".1

At that time, Assange was in Sweden lecturing on the leaking of confidential U.S. military files on the war in Afghanistan.3

Investigation against him was initially dropped in August by the prosecutor, Eva Finne, but later resumed by Ny in September.2

WikiLeaks has so far published 400,000 classified US documents on the Iraq war and 77,000 on the Afghan war.1

[Are there any similarities between Eva Finne, who initially dropped the investigation against Assange, and the judges suspected of bias in the failed first trial of Geert Wilders?

Judicial and official bias against those criticizing Islam, and bias for Islam and its supporters is something to watch out for.]

A UN report says North Korea supplying Iran, Syria and Myanmar with ballistic and nuclear equipment

The report was completed in May but was only published on Friday after being blocked by China. Trade in ballistic and nuclear equipment is banned by the U.N. security council.

 AFP reports,
It did not give details but said North Korea used "masking techniques" including mislabelling containers, falsifying ships' manifests and destination details "and use of multiple layers of intermediaries, shell companies, and financial institutions."[Emphasis added]
[ Currently, it appears certain that Iran has been caught shipping weapons illegally to Nigeria. Some of the methods used by Iran in the shipment includes mislabeling containers and a claim, rejected by Nigerian authorities, that the cargo ended up in Nigeria by accident. This suggests the North Koreans are not only trading weapons but might also be sharing information with Iran on how to illegally transfer cargoes. Iran seems to be using the same methods the U.N. says North Korea uses to transfer illegal cargoes.

Another thing to note here is the Unholy alliance among the axis of evil countries and how the dinosaur leftist and liberal countries align themselves with Islamofascist countries that suppress the values, rights and freedoms that they claim to care about.]

Muslim immigrants make Amsterdam 'gay'-bashing capital of Europe but Media and Liberal-left ignore it

Due to 'gay'-bashings by Moroccan and Turkish Muslim immigrants, Amsterdam, once the 'gay' capital of Europe ten years ago, has now become the 'gay'-bashing capital of Europe instead.1 An "offender study" by the university of Amsterdam suggests there may have been up to 5000 attacks on 'gays' in 2007.1 Despite these, the media pays little attention to it, similar to silence among Canadian feminists on Muslim honor killings, unless if the attacker is a straight white male.1 Islamophilia is nothing new among the liberal-left. Eight years ago, a former Marxist2 and 'gay' Dutch politician Pim Fortuyn was assassinated by a left-wing, animal rights activist and environmentalist3 terrorist Volkert van der Graaf for criticizing Islam as a "backward culture".4
