Obama and anti-war defeatists blamed for emboldening terrorists in Afghanistan where minorities want US to stay

 Obama's previous talks of early withdrawal from Afghanistan, urged on by Dodo-like anti-war defeatists and naive pacifists, and attempts by Afghan president Hamid Karzai, who is from the majority Pashtun ethnic group, to make peace with the mostly Pashtun Taliban, have lead to fears among minorities there of being abandoned. Obama has since pushed back the start of major withdrawals to 2014 but this has not stopped some from seeking to re-arm, in case the situation returns to what it was before the U.S. arrival.

Abbas Noian, an ethnic Hazara legislator said

"It is very bad, America announcing they will leave Afghanistan. It has given more power to the militants, more energy. Already we minorities are afraid. We want peace but we are afraid of a strong Taliban,"

 The Associated Press reports,

Abdullah Abdullah, a close associate of the assassinated Massoud and loser to Karzai in the fraud-ridden 2009 presidential election, blamed the U.S. He said its talk of withdrawal emboldened the Taliban.

"People are rearming in some parts of the country," he said. "Who is going to protect them against the Taliban? NATO? Karzai?"

[ Despite this, those opposed to the war on terror will continue to do so as their opposition is based on blind ideology and not on facts.

 Even when it is proven that things they claim to care for such as freedom, human rights and democracy are opposed by the Islamofascists, they will continue to support terrorists, both overt and covert, against the U.S., just as the earlier generation supported the theofascist ayatollah Khomeini in Iran.

 This also shows that contrary to claim by terrorists supporter that the U.S. is an unwanted invader, there are those there who prefer the U.S. over the Taliban.]

(Bad) Muslim psychology: The blame game

 Iran has arrested four alleged Kurdish terrorists and accused Britain of link to them via Jalil Fattahi, thought to be living in Britain. The British deny supporting terror. Political science teacher Houchang Hassan-yari, of Canada's Royal Military College said,

it is Tehran's standard practice to finger "outside forces and outside enemies for everything bad that goes on inside the country."

[It is not just Tehran. It is how so many Muslims think. They simply blame others for all that's wrong with themselves, either to excuse themselves or to denigrate others.]

Ethnic Baluch Sunni Iranian rebel group Jundullah declared a terror group by the US

 The group claims to be fighting against perceived discrimination¹ of Sunni Baluch ethnic group in the Shiite Persian country. They are active mainly in the Sistan-Baluchistan province^1,2 and had claimed responsibility for the July suicide bombings of Zahedan Grand Mosque in the city of Zahedan that killed 28.¹  They claim it was targeted at Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps in revenge for the hanging of its leader Abdolmalek Rigi in June.¹ The US also accuses it of being responsible for a May 2009 mosque attack and an October 2009 bombing that killed over 40.²

 [This is somewhat ironic given that the leader of the secular bloc in Iraq's Parliament, Ayad Allawi, amongst others, has said that Iran "definitely" finances terror. So who is the good guy here?]

Atmosphere of terror as 52 killed in 4 days of ethno-political violence in Karachi

 Fifty-two people have been killed in four days of ethno-political violence in the Pakistani city of Karachi. A local resident Mohammad Sadiq said there was an "atmosphere of terror" in the city. In one attack, 11 people, including 8 ethnic Baluch were shot to death. Most of the killings have been blamed on gangs allegedly controlled by political parties. There had already been 300 "targeted killings" in the first half of this year. The current round of violence stems from the bye-election for the seat of assassinated MQM MP, Raza Haide. The secular MQM blames the Pashtuns based Awami National Party, which has boycotted the election, for the Talibanisation of the city.

Gunmen kill 29 in Karachi during bye-election for assasinated MP's seat

 Gunmen have killed at least 29 people in the Pakistani city of Karachi during a bye-election for the parliamentary seat of Muttahida Qaumi Movement's (MQM) assassinated Raza Haider. A hundred people have already died in the week following the assassination. MQM represents the Mohajirs who are  descendants of Urdu-speakers who moved to Pakistan after the partition from India, and they have blamed the killings on Pashtun-based Awami National Party (ANP), which has boycotted the bye-election.
